Feast of Pope Saint Celestine (19 May 2014)

Jesus says to his disciples and us in the gospel for today’s Mass, “he who loves me keeps my commandments. This simple statement is vastly important in our spiritual life. Nowadays, there are many who have foolish, sentimental, emotional concepts of love which are totally wrong because they do not produce virtue. People like that are like fruit trees or vines that produce lots of leaves but no fruit. Virtuous living is the ONLY authentic proof of love of God. Thank you for seeking God’s truth, God Bless you, Father Victor Brown, O.P.
